The last capital trial of 2011 ended in a life sentence yesterday.
Larry Bonnell Shawn Robinson was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole by a Robeson County jury after less than 30 minutes of deliberation. The same jury previously found Robinson guilty of one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree murder, and one count of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury for his role in a 2007 shooting that left two men dead and a third injured.

This makes 0 flippin’ sense to me:
Larry Robinson kills TWO people & maims a third; gets life w/o parole.
William Robinson “offs” ONE person, & he goes to death row.
Somebody want to EXPLAIN this madness to me? If this isn’t capriciousness in meting out justice, then pray tell, WHAT IS?
This is grossly unfair (synonymous with “unjust”) to William Robinson. What’s fair is fair, what’s just is just, & what’s not, IS NOT.
If William is deserving of the ultimate punishment for killing ONE person, it follows that Larry is absolutely deserving of it for murdering TWO. Life w/o parole IS a “lighter” sentence than being put to death. Right?
I defy anyone to make any sense out of this!
seeing as i knew the ppl larry killed im glad!!!!
